1 Thessalonians 5 commands us Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in
everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
I believe we need to Give God thanks for the opportunities He gives to all
each and every day! Titus 2:11-15
No matter your ethnicity, no matter the color of your skin you have the
opportunity for Salvation in Jesus Christ … Without God sending His Son
there would be no salvation for any of us.

The Human race is being called by Christ to be one body, His Church, with
different races, cultures, incomes, and languages. We as a part of His Church
are commanded to spread that message to a world that is divided in sin.
Opportunity is given and a choice is to be made. The bible tells us that today
is the day of Salvation, that now is the appointed time…
You are given the opportunity to turn to God and by believing accept what
has been done for you in Christ.

As a Christian have the opportunity to draw on the Strength of the Lord.
Philippians 4:13 I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me.
What is it that you are going through right now? What is it that you need to
get through? You have the opportunity to receive Strength to do it. Keep in
mind that you will not get it until you need it.
What is it that God is Calling you to do as a part of His Church? He will give
you the strength to do it. He will, by His Spirit, enable you to fulfill your
purpose.

We are also given the opportunity not to live in fear…
Almighty God tells His people, and this applies to us as the Israel of God, I
brought you from the ends of the earth and called you from its farthest
corners. I said to you: You are my servant; I have chosen you; I haven’t
rejected you. Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your
God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my
righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:9-10. God is right there with you in the midst of
whatever it is that you are living in fear of; and He is there to strengthen you
and to help you – and he will hold on to you in and through it!
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has
given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal
discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-
control]. 2 Timothy 1:7 AMP The Spirit that raised Jesus, the Holy Spirit of

Almighty God, has been given to us as His Church and to us as individuals of
His Church. we have no reason to live in fear. All we have to do is believe!
As God people, as Believers, we don’t have to even fear death! Because for
us there is no penalty in death it is just a transition from this world to the
next.

Ever worry or be anxious? The Word of God tells us not to worry or be
anxious about any thing Matthew 6:25-34
It is easy to be told not to worry it is another thing to put that into practice,
but it can be done. You have the opportunity to give your worries to Him,
cast your anxiety on Him, Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty
hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your
cares on him, because he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:6-7.

Questions:

Are you Thankful for the opportunities God has Given you?

Are you taking advantage of the opportunities God give us?
