You can read of the things Paul mentions in Acts but the point is that we have an enemy that is out to steal, kill, and destroy. One who goes about like a Roaring lion look for someone to devour.
Look at all that the enemy threw at Paul, and yet he persisted in Doing what he was called to do.
We too are called to action, to move forward, and to share the Gospel. And like Paul we will meet with resistance.
The enemy of our souls is out to stop us just as he did Paul.
We are sent, in the love of God, out into the world to seek the lost and disciple them to Christ. (Luke 9:23, Matt 28:19-20)
