Our Building God’s Building 5-31
As believers, the foundation you have is vital both now and for eternity. Believing God, walking in His wisdom, and submitting to the Spirits influence and leading enables you to build on the solid foundation that is Jesus Christ. As you base your life on Him you are building a temple in which the Spirt of God is and will reside.
Our Purpose 6-2
The Church is to be equipping one another for works of service both in and out of the church building. That first church in Acts was learning together as the Church, they were devoted to each other, had meals together in one another’s homes, as Acts 2:46 tells us, and they prayed together… (they were equipped). God did not design His church to be a country club, or some kind of charitable organization that meets weekly, He put us together to learn and grow and teach and pray together so that we would be equipped to spread the Gospel!
Are we the Church or Something Else? 5-26
Fellowship, worship, and ministry are all conducted by people, not buildings. Church buildings give us a place to have fellowship, a place to worship, and were intended to be a place to help us with, and in, the ministries we are called to do as the church. But buildings alone cannot meet every ministry need nor are they essential for a congregation to be the Church where they are placed.
Paul 1-13
These letters of Paul are sent for different reasons. The letter to the Galatian churches, to the congregations in Galatia, is one of rebuke and correction. Apostasy/rebellion was taking place, they were turning away from the true Gospel of the Kingdom, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Walking 1-6
It is this Jesus that hung on a cross for you, who died for you, who rose on the third day for you, that is calling you to walk with Him in repentance and obedience. I don’t know what your next step is, but I do know this: You have one. God will never be finished taking you deeper in faith. There is always a next step. If you have not agreed to walk with God, then where are you headed?
