Being the Church, Part 2 3-8

How can you expect others to do what you are unwilling to do? Is it not the Church’s responsibility to practice the one anothers and make disciples? Are you not the church? Are you speaking the Truth in love? Helping? Serving? Are you bearing with one another? Forgiving? Loving? Growing? That’s what happens when we are being the Church! If we are not obedient in this…

Being the Church 3-1

If Christ is your Lord and King, then you are a part of His Kingdom. As a part of His Kingdom, which is His Church here and now, you have responsibilities and duties, things you are called and commanded to do. This is not about those who are unable to work but those that won’t.

Spreading the Truth 2-23

If the church does not spread the truth, if we, you and I and every other blood bought, Christ following, bible believing, born again member of God’s Church are not bold in our witness, there will be no spreading. Are we doing what we are called to do as ambassadors for Christ and for that matter as Christ followers; Christians? God is counting on You to spread the Truth, His Word, the Gospel of Christ!

People of Truth 2-16

You need the Truth if you want to stay the course. You need to know that you are loved by God. Knowledge of His love… Do not let what you are experiencing, the circumstances, the consequences, or the trials, troubles, and tribulations of life keep you from knowing the Truth of God’s love and responding to it.

Truth and the Man 2-2

In Chapter 1  we read that on that day, at the revelation of Jesus Christ, He is going to take vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who don’t obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. Just so we are clear, the word gospel means “good news,” so the gospel of Christ is the good news of His coming to provide forgiveness of sins for all who will believe.

Staying the Course (2) 1-19

On this journey called life we each make choices. Those choices, to obey or disobey, to be kind or unkind, to love or not to love, to forgive or not to forgive, to believe or not believe, pave the road to heaven or hell. If you have accepted the forgiveness and new life found in Christ then you must stay the course until the end. Christ and His church should be what defines your walk and who you are, not your job, hobbies, or anything else.

Staying the Course – 1-12

If you are following Christ you will end up with Christ, if you are following the world, you will end up where those of the world will end up. That decision is made in the steps you take each day. Each of us are all on this journey called life and once we have received new life in Christ we must stay the course. We stay the course by, and in, the grace, love, and mercy of God!

2 Don’ts 12-9

Are you ready to start a fire in our communities? It has to start here! The fire must spread form the local Church. We must fan into flame, or rekindle, the gifts God has blessed us with! Take your next step….  Do not stifle the Spirit, instead, “stifle yourself” – Deny the flesh, put to death what belongs to the flesh… God has called us, His Church, to go into their communities, to prophecy, spread the Gospel, and be a witnesses of God’s love.

Ready Church! 11-17

In Experiencing God Day by Day we are told that “Biblically, waiting on the Lord is never passive; it is always active. Waiting requires us to cease form our own pursuits and give God our complete attention.” We are to be doing what our lord and master commands us to do. We are to be ready for His return (See Luke 12:36-48)!  How can you be ready if you are not His, not walking in faith, not obedient to what you know to do? Listen, I am trying my best to warn and equip you; Jesus is coming back!

Pleasing God 10-13

Pornography use in the U. S. is at an all time high and that has bled into congregations throughout our country and the world… “Pornography hurts adults, children, couples, families, and society. Among adolescents, pornography hinders the development of a healthy sexuality, and among adults, it distorts sexual attitudes and social realities. In families, pornography use leads to marital dissatisfaction, infidelity, separation, and divorce.”

Sanctification 10-6

Whole denominations have fallen away claiming to be open and accepting, out of love, of what God clearly calls sin. Jesus never accepted, encouraged, or endorsed sin. He loved the sinner and hated the sin. When Jesus comes back, He is coming in Judgment.  Judgment day, the Lord’s Day, the Last Day is coming.
